What would you attempt, if you knew you could not fail?


Well I made it through the first weekend with no problems. Not even 10 inches of snow could keep me from working out. I figure that shows some dedication. I got on the treadmill and am doing that at 2.7 to 3 for 15 minutes. Basically that is a brisk walk for the time being. My goal is to eventually run for 15 minutes and then push myself to do it for 30. I've never been a big runner though so it's a struggle for me sometimes. I need to stretch more because my calves and legs always hurt after a while and I really think it's due to me not warming up enough.


After that I than biked for about 3.5 miles. I also got on the rowing machine and did 100 cruches and leg lifts. I hurt a lot! Just bending over to put my shoes on hurts my stomach, but no pain no gain right??? haha. All in all it hasn't been that bad really. I need some new music on my ipod though. My internet is not letting me download new music at the moment and that's totally annoying me. Let me know if you have any ideas on good sites that work!


I have not weighed in yet so no update on that. I have decided that this time I will not obess about that either. I always want to check it and then I don't lose or only lose one pound after working really had and I get discouraged. I'm not going to let myself do that this time. Instead I'm going to guage how things are going by assessing how I feel and how my clothes fit. Don't get me wrong I will check my weight just not often.


So far I'm feeling really good about this. Everytime I started to get tired instead of taking a nap I went and worked out and it felt good. I feel good!
