
Well I seem to have caught the stomach flu that was going around...BLAH! I'm starting to feel better now but had to take four days off from working out. I usually build two into my schedule so I did take more off than I wanted, but I needed to rest and let my body get back to normal. Now that everything seems to be in working order again on Sunday I will head back to the gym to get back to my routine.
I've found that I really like doing the elliptical machine over the treadmill. The elliptical machine seems to be easier on my knees plus I feel like I work harder on it and push myself more. I am up to about 25 minutes on that and then head to he rowing machine for another 10 minutes on there. Depending on the day and what I have going on afterwards sometimes I hit up a few weight lifting machines. I can def. see some improvement. I can go longer on the machine now than I ever could before. I keep increasing the resistance which is good for me also. It helps for me to see that there is some improvement. I suppose this week or next week I will need to weight myself to see how that is going there. As I said before I'm more concerned with how I am feeling than with the losing weight process. I have given up before because in my head I wasn't losing weight fast enough to make it worth it so this time I don't want to focus on that. Instead I want to focus on how my body is feeling and how I am doing in general.
So starting Sunday I'm back to the routine and everything seems to be going great so far! Some days I'm less motivated than others but knowing that there are a lot of people out there rooting for me has helped me on those days to go get done what I need to do!
